Long Term Parking

We provide long term Launceston Airport Parking at the entry to the Airport for half a day or more in our 300+ bay carpark.

We now also offer Undercover Parking - a great new service but only available if you make an Online Booking. Limited availability so check the booking system.

There are two ways to use the car park: make an Online Booking, or Drive in without a booking. There are also have Annual parking cards available.

Note: The undercover area is reserved for undercover parking customers and customers wanting their car washed or detailed.

Online Booking

Take advantage of the online booking system

This will ensure that there is a spot in the car park available for you - important during peak times such as school holidays.

Online booking uses number plate recognition cameras meaning fast entry and exit!

Procedure is as follows:

  1. Go to the Online Booking page and make a booking.
  2. During the online booking process you will be asked to enter your number plate.
  3. When you arrive at the car park entry boom gate, a camera reads your number plate and the boom gate opens.  If it does not open, then enter your access code on your booking confirmation.
  4. Find a parking spot in the outside area of the car-park (or undercover if you have booked undercover parking or want Car Wash and Detailing Service).
  5. Walk to the airport terminal via the footpath (about a 5 minute walk)  or proceed to the undercover waiting area for a PAID shuttle service to take you to the airport.
  6. Upon returning to the airport either walk to to the carpark or wait for the shuttle bus at arrivals.
  7. If the shuttle service is not there please call the number shown on your booking (0456 56 55 99) after collecting your luggage.
  8. Exit the car park by driving up to the exit boom gate where a camera reads your number plate and the boom gate opens.  If it does not open, then enter your access code on your booking confirmation.
  9. If you have stayed longer than your booking don’t worry.  Simply see the Office before you exit the car park who will work out if extra fees are payable.
  10. Any issues please see a staff member or use the intercom on the Auto Pay Stations, Entry or Exit machines.

Online booking - taking the hassle out of travelling!

Drive in

You can simply drive up to the boom gate as follows:

  1. Drive up the boom gate at the car park entrance on Hudson Fysh Drive and take a ticket.
  2. Find a parking spot in the outside area of the car-park (or undercover if you also want Car Wash and Detailing Services).
  3. Take your ticket with you.
  4. Walk to the airport terminal via the footpath (about a 5 minute walk) or proceed to the undercover waiting area for a PAID shuttle service to take you to the airport.
  5. Upon returning to the airport either walk to the carpark or wait for the shuttle bus outside airport arrivals terminal.
  6. If the shuttle service is not there please call the number shown on your entry ticket (0456 56 55 99) after collecting your luggage.
  7. Pay for your Car Parking at one of the Pay Stations within the Car Park.  Visa and Mastercard accepted.  Cash accepted at the Pay Station in the undercover waiting area.
  8. Exit the car park by driving up to the exit boom gate and inserting your paid ticket.
  9. Any issues please see a staff member or use the intercom on the Auto Pay Stations, Entry or Exit machines.
